8:30 Wake few miles from Napier.
Rain rain rain .... It will still take a tour of the city known for its Art Deco buildings. Great idea for Dad Safely! At each corner of the grounds and beautiful colors! We just wish not to have sunshine.
We stop at the center Art Deco and the seller, an old lady asks us where we come from. In France? She is delighted to tell us she has already gone over there to make a touring bike. So we start chatting with her and her colleague for some time about the pilgrimage of Saint Jacques de Compostela (Subject not easy in English you will notice! She even asked us how we say in English, I try a "Compostello? "... English Hablo Olé!). We walk into the center and on the beach and then took the van towards the port where there is a beautiful Art Deco building!
We then take the road towards Gisborne but it does just passing through, we planned to stop and sleep at Tolaga Bay to see more large pier in New Zealand.
I spend just buy two authored books including a New Zealander named "Whale Rider" here apparently deemed that takes place in a town just off Gisborne, Whangara. Too bad it got dark we can not stop to see and it is already late by 2 days on our travel plans! Provided we have time to see everything!
Arrive at the campsite in the pouring rain and a wind of madness.
Cockroaches in the kitchen, spiders in the showers and toilets and semi-eyed cat who sends shivers down your spine .... Simpa camping!
