We spent the night just before Featherston on the roadside.
Wake at 8:30, I open one eye and just jump on my phone to call Kerry ... who answers!
She did not answer yesterday because she had lost her cat (hahaha mother Michelle! Hum. Sorry) I finally mean it was sport, and returned to 10:30 at night!
She said she expects us to 3h home safely! Yhouhou!
On the road we decide to go see the cliffs and a lake to the sea
big surprise I was driving and we fell stack the day of change of field for cows! We ended up stuck 5 times in herds! "Really not easy to get out!
We finally arrived to the cliffs but we have 2h of steps to achieve them and we did not have time to do the walk if you want to be on time for Wellingotn.
So we set out again and we meet a young age with our big bag that makes us stop and wonder if we can get him to Featherston. No worries it on our way back! it makes us the company is great! Gilles and his name is just one shot of Belgium speaks French! It stops with him to Lake Ferry, a lake that overlooks the sea waves are huge and we discover that this is a surfing spot for locals! The area is beautiful but a bit lost!
The lake joins the sea
We're back with our friend Gilles van!
He tells us he traveled for seven months in Alaska before coming to New Zealand. Hearing him speak makes me feel to be there! I listen to it tell he dug holes in the snow in -35 ° C to sleep in a sleeping bag, he fell into a frozen lake and grazed hypothermia ... ...
It was tabled in Featherston and we drove to Wellington with a van that smelled poop because cows!
Arrive in Wellington at 3h battery Kerry, lovely home in a nice apartment with a great room just for us!
Gentille like everything she is quick to call all the neighbors to get a double beep from the car park and gives us even double his keys! Adorable!
She moved, once installed, a walk in the center. The dream, she lives in Thorndon, 10 minutes walk away from downtown! She shows us the Parliament, the shopping street Lambdon of Quay and we even take the small funicular to reach the top of a hill. Lovely view of Wellington!
A round the museum and then the funicular back down to the botanical garden at home.
She even prepares meals: Pumpkin Soup input (YUM), a mix of vegetables in main course ... and chocolate mousse for dessert!
the evening he was told that we must join Mary in town for a drink. She said she laid there in our car and we watch Courtney Place "the Kid the weekend" as she says "you have to go it's your age! She says even if you return the call around midnight so she will come for us because it is within walking distance! You will not return!
What a joy to see Mary! I hugged him !!!!!! She had missed so much!
We'll have a drink in a pub and then she takes the bus to return 23h. Good thing we put out with Cedric! But we are given an appointment the next day to go shopping!
Dodo in a big soft bed with a blanket and 3 layers of quilts!! Bonheuuuuur!
