GENEVA - "Nearly 100,000 people," Egyptian and Tunisian workers mainly fled Libya in neighboring countries where the High Commissioner for Refugees trying to come to their aid, said in a statement.
"The rescue teams from the UN High Commissioner for United are working with the Egyptian and Tunisian authorities and NGOs to provide support to some 100,000 people who fled violence in Libya last week, "said the UNHCR in Geneva in a statement.
According to UNHCR, there 's acts mainly foreign immigrants, mostly Egyptians and Tunisians.
The Red Crescent had earlier indicated that more than 10,000 people had fled from Libya to Tunisia for Saturday alone through the border crossing at Ras Jedir Most of the Egyptians, calling the situation a "humanitarian crisis" in view of the magnifying wave of refugees.
