Explain The Gray Color In The Naphthalene
JOHANNESBURG - South African President Jacob Zuma visited Tuesday to a hero of the anti-apartheid Nelson Mandela, recovering at home after two days of hospitalization, with whom he discussed the next Cricket World Cup.
"I met him this morning," said Jacob Zuma at a press conference in honor of the national team, the Proteas, selected for the Cricket World Cup (February 19 to April 2 India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka). "I promised you (...) to make the country proud and that you would see him receive his congratulations" sued the head of state, addressing the players.
Jacob Zuma was not in South Africa on Wednesday when his illustrious predecessor, aged 92, was admitted to a private clinic in Johannesburg for an acute respiratory infection.
Despite the concern was getting into the country without official communication on the health of the Nobel Peace Prize, Jacob Zuma had decided to stay at the Forum Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), then go as planned at the summit of the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
But upon his return, he rushed to the bedside of Nelson Mandela, who received a steady stream of visitors last week.
While noting that the country's first black president (1994-1999) responded well to treatment, his doctors expressed concern Monday of this influx of visitors.
increasingly frail, the global icon of freedom and forgiveness began scarce appearances in 2004. His last public appearance was in the closing ceremony 2010 World Cup, July 11 in Johannesburg.
